I'm sure it will be very useful for those going skiing and traveling through the mountains. Which ski area is usually the last to close each season, and when generally is that? Arapahoe Basin usually closes around the 4th of July. They are considering snow making equipment that would allow then to stay open all year. Some others, like Loveland, close while they still have plenty of snow but no business. (mid to late June) Vail must close by late April as the elk migrate into the back bowls to give birth. Wolf Creek and Teluride often get more than 350" of snow per season. That is a LOT of snow. Thanks for asking. CSF [ Reply to Comment ]

You should post the link for the ski reports so that those of us not in a knee brace awaiting surgery can check the conditions before we go up. I usually can ski A-basin through late June, because most of the runs are on the north facing slope. If they got snowmaking equipment, that would be awesome.
